Refining seismic prospecting Refining: Set
industrial processes used to transform crude oil into products, naphtha, gas oil, kerosene, solvents, lubricants, asphalt, etc..
The refining process consists of three series of operations:
a) Physical processes of fractionation of crude oil by distillation (topping). b) physical-chemical processes for conversion to increase the performance of a given crude oil in certain products.
c) The actual refining operations includes physical and chemical nature intended to produce a wide range of finished products meet commercial standards and specifications. Main
refining processes:
1) Distillation at atmospheric pressure and vacuum.
2) catalytic cracking.
3) steam cracker.
4) Refurbished.
5) isomerization.
6) Alkylation.
7) Desulfurization.
8) Reduced viscosity.
